TV Talk: Good omens season 2 review

 Synopsis on Amazon:
A naked archangel turns up at the door to renegade angel Aziraphale's bookshop, with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and Aziraphale and retired demon Crowley's lives become extremely complicated. Heaven and Hell are both desperate to find the runaway. As Crowley and Aziraphale attempt to fix a human romance, things become increasingly unsafe for them, in the past and the present.

I am disappointed in Good Omens season 2.

To understand why I am disappointed, we must ask the question, who was it made for?

The first season was enjoyable to a wide range of audiences, from early teens to adults, whether they be men or women.

The second season plays out more as fanfiction and seems to be more for women who like gay stuff.

The audience is the most important factor when making entertainment. the two seasons are so different. The first season you can watch with your family, but the second season is not something you would show to kids or teens.

Now, the overall problem with this show is the gay relationships. I liked the main characters when they were just good friends. Then, the whole show became about their gay relationship through the other characters' gay relationships. This was how important it was; the mystery of the show was about an angel and demon getting together, and the subplot of the story was about two women getting together. and one scene between two angels that seems to foreshadow the end of the season.

I dislike this direction. It was not done for the audience. Neil Gaiman needs to stop making things like this. I am not going to watch the third season because Neil Gaiman always tries to one-up himself. The next season, knowing Neil Gaiman's style will center around a trans hooker that is in a relationship with an angel.

So my overall opinion is don't watch this garbage, be happy with the first season, and move past this fanfiction trainwreck.

SEASON 1 Gets the 5 Oh so good's... while Season 2 gets the Oh that was disappointing...
